Hello Community!
Happy Giving Tuesday from the San Mateo County Pride Center! Today we focus on giving back to our communities. Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Millions of people coming together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
I am happy to report that we have continued the great work we set out to do since our opening on June 1st, 2017.
- We have seen 2,224 people come through our doors
- We have trained 3,670 health providers to affirm and celebrate our communities
- We have hosted 8 Intergenerational Dinners
- We have 9 thriving peer groups
We are taking on the challenge to continue to offer these services and create a culture of LGBTQ+ celebration where everyone in San Mateo County feels comfortable being their authentic selves.

Our goal is to raise $1,000 to support our Pride Center.
